Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us and some information that is collected automatically when you use the site.

• Guide form: first name, last name, email address, and your baby's age range (0-3, 3-6, or 6-9 months).
• Messages you send us by email or other contact details you include.
• Technical and usage information such as pages viewed, links clicked, approximate general location derived from IP address, browser type, and referring site.
• Security signals used to reduce spam and abuse, which may include IP address, a short-lived form token, and an optional bot-protection check.

How we use it

We use this information to operate Mom & Motion and to keep the experience useful and safe.

• Send the guide you asked for and related follow-up that you can opt out of.
• Respond to questions and provide sessions or consultations you request.
• Understand which parts of the site are helpful, and improve them.
• Protect the site from spam, fraud, and misuse.
• Meet legal, accounting, or security obligations if they arise.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site, and only as needed for that work. Typical examples include email delivery, hosting, a database, analytics, and spam protection.

Those providers may process information on our behalf under their own terms. We may also disclose information if we believe we must do so to comply with the law, protect someone's safety, or defend our rights.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies, similar storage, and analytics tools to remember a short session, understand visits, and keep forms working. You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

We use first-party events (for example, that a guide was requested) and privacy-conscious analytics from our hosting provider to see overall usage, not to build an advertising profile.

Email

If you request a guide, we will email you that file and may occasionally send a note when there is something worth sharing. You can unsubscribe using the link in those emails, or by writing to hello@momandmotion.com. Transactional mail, such as the guide itself or a reply to a message you sent, may still be delivered.

How long we keep it

We keep signup and contact details for as long as we need them to send what you asked for, prevent duplicate or abusive requests, and understand our audience. Usage logs are kept for a limited time and then removed. We may keep a record longer if the law requires it or if we need it to resolve a dispute.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and access limited to people who need it to operate the site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to certain uses. Write to hello@momandmotion.com and we will help. Please note that we may retain limited information as needed to prevent abuse or meet a legal duty.

Children

Mom & Motion is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The baby's age range on the guide form is provided by the parent or caregiver so we can send the matching resource. It is not used to create a profile of a child. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors from other places

The site is offered online and may be hosted or processed in countries other than your own. If you use the site from another country, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed where we and our providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated date above will change when we do. If a change is material, we will take additional steps that are reasonable in the circumstances, such as a note on the site.
